Sarah Ann Marchant was the daughter of Henry and Charlotte Marchant, (Who latter became Charlotte Harris). Sarah Ann's name was changed to Burns when her mother married John Burns in January 1854 while Sarah Ann was in the Orphan School. In October the same year they had a child they named John. John Burns, was my great grandfather and Sarah Ann was his half sister.
