This orphan has been claimed by: Amy Freeman

My husband, Scott Freeman, is a direct descendant of Ann Marsh.  Her mother Sarah Sparrow was crushed to death by a bullock cart against the projection of the new Pontville Bridge on the 18th June, 1843.  She is buried in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Pontville (there is a headstone).  Ann Marsh married Thomas Freeman on January 13, 1860 at Staines Corner, Avoca and together they had 11 children, from which the second youngest, Lionel Walter (1884-1924), Scott is descended.  Ann died at Bona Vista, Avoca 29 April 1928 and is buried in the cemetery at Avoca.
