The Boothman children's father John Broadhurst Boothman died in 1829 and their mother Mary Westlake and her seven children were left destitute.  In 1830 some of the children were put into care.  Mary remarried Samuel Cash in 1834 and I believe the children were returned to Mary.  As I am still researching this family I am unable to add much more at this stage.
