James was a brother to Emmeline and William also at the orphanage, his other siblings are Sarah, John, Charles and Lydia Ann known as Anna who is my great, great grandmother. Anna married George Powling in Fremantle Western Australia in 1854. Emmeline and William were discharged to his care.
