#2039 Annie George/Thomas/Clark/Neal was my GG grand-aunt. Her mother, Jessie George / Clark, was my Gx3 Grandmother. Annie's father, William Thomas, and Jessie George lived together from 1856. At one time they resided in the Good Woman Inn on the corner of Argyle & Warwick Streets, Hobart. Annie's siblings are #2038 Alfred Henry George, who married Mary Matilda George; #2040 Jessie George/Thomas later Clark, who married William Baker; # 2041 Billie George/Thomas. These kids are also listed on this site. Annie married John (Jack) Neal on 5 September 1877 in Ringarooma. They had eight children - Clarence, William, Samuel, John, Amy 1886, Ethel, Ruth and Amy 1895. Ultimately, Jessie made her way to Ringarooma. All her children & families were there as well. This beautiful flower of Scotland with her roots in Jamaica was laid to rest in 1915 in Scottsdale, Tasmania.
