Mary Connell was transported for stealing a coat. Arrived 29 April 1849 per Australasia. Ticket of Leave 10 Aug 1850. Conditional pardon recommended 10 May 1854. Free 14 Dec 1855. She was accompanied by her son James Carey. In 1851 she married Florence McCarthy and had three children with him. Florence's first wife , Mary Minihan, had died around 1850 about the time Florence was transported.
