The Richmond Bicentenary Convict Muster will be held on 10-12 February 2024 (the southern Tasmanian Regatta Day weekend).
Day 1 Saturday 10 February 10.30 am–3.30 pm: talks & displays, Richmond Town Hall & Supper Room.
Day 2 Sunday 11 February, talks & displays 10.30 am–3.30 pm, Richmond Town Hall & Supper Room.
Day 3 Monday 12 February 10 am–4 pm Convict family reunions & displays –, Richmond Town Hall & Supper Room.
There will be information about how to research your convict ancestors and convict-themed music in Richmond Gaol and St John’s Church, as well as other exhibitions. There will be trade tables from various organisations, including Tasmanian Archives, UTAS and local bookshops. The Female Convicts Research Centre and Friends of the Orphan Schools will also be participating.
