Catherine Morrissey was my great grandmother. She married Patrick O'Brien  (convict per

St Vincent)  and became the mother of 12 children 11 of whom survived to adulthood.

The family have done well and one of Catherine's  grand daughters became a Dame of the British Empire.

I have a great fondness for my transported Grannies although they were all gone before my birth.
