Ann Connolly, age 8, was placed in care at the Queen's Orphan School New Town, one week after her mother’s convict ship Mary Ann 111 arrived in Hobart in 1841. She was discharged on 15 April 1845 to her mother Catherine who was by then free.
I believe Ann's two brothers M Connolly age 6 and Thomas Connolly age 2 came to Van Diemen's Land with their mother on the Mary Ann 111, but can find no records of what happened to them.
