Margaret Cusack was born to John and Bridget Cusack 1820 in Cork, Ireland and died on 24 August, 1923 after a fall which caused heart failure, at her home at Hawkes Terrace, Hobart.
Stephen Cusack was born on 3 December, 1852 at the Cascade Factory Women's Prison. He was at the Queen's Orphanage for many years. He was admitted to Infants School at 2 and half years on 6 August 1855 and discharged on 11 March, 1860 and admitted to male school; aged 8 years and 3 months.
On 11 June, 1860 Margaret Cusack/Foley (widow) married Stephen Dickens (Son Patrick Foley was born in 1853 and daughter Ann Foley in 1858) My grandmother Mary Jane Theresa Dickens was born 21 April, 1865 and died 15 March, 1940; married Daniel Burke on 18 April 1887 and three children : Ida Nora -1888; John Tasman - 1889 and Eileen Gladys - 1894 (my mother).
Stephen Cusack Dickens died on 18 July, 1928.
