Eliza was born at Black Brush near Brighton on 13 aug 1816. Her parents were William Davis a former marine and Jane Williams born Norfolk Island in August 1793. Eliza married John Blacklow, a neighbour, on 12 Jan 1834 and had fourteen children. She died 5 APRIL 1889 at her home Blendon at Black Brush and is buried at St Marks Pontville.
