Elizabeth Nicol wrote:

James was admitted to the orphanage after the death of his father Alerxander Barclay. His twin sister Elizabeth remained with their Mother along with his younger brother John. James was returned to his mother two days after the death of his older brother William at the orphanage. The mother of these children is my g.g.g.grandmother who came free from Ireland on board Bussorah Merchant with her first husband Daniel Sullivan in 1838.
