George was the second child and eldest son of my ggg grandparents Sohia and James Charles Gunyon. He was born in London in 1818 and died unmarried, on Saturday 17th August 1901 in West Devonport. He was buried in the Devonport Bluff Cemetery on 19th August 1901. He had been a long time employee of Mr Dan Brown of Stewart Street. George died in Mr Brown's yard. He was a pensioner when he died, but had still continued to work or be present at the yard.
