Thomas was a brother of my great grandmother Alice Gurnin, also an orphan(2260). Thomas was born Thomas Girvin to Thomas Girvin of Pontville. I have a feeling he stayed with his father in Pontville. His father was given land grants in Pontville and newspaper articles mention a Thomas Girvin when Girvin Snr may not have been still alive. Unable to find death or burial details for both Snr and Jnr.
