Robert was my 3x great uncle, brother to Charles William Harper (baptised as William). The two boys were abandoned by their father, William after their arrival in Hobart Town. Charles William was raised by Charles and Sarah Blain. Robert was cared for elsewhere, until that circumstance changed and he was placed in the orphanage. I'd be keen to make contact with any descendants of Robert.
Cheers
Amanda
