She was born in Oatlands, 1859.

Daughter of Catherine Fazackerley and James Harris, married Bothwell 1854.

Siblings: Ellen Harris (1855), James Harris Jnr (1857), John Harris (1862).

Amelia Amanda Harris married George Matthews 5 June 1880, St Davids Cathedral Hobart.  George was the Coachman for the Lenna Hotel.  The family resided in what is now 'Mandalay' 7 McGregor Street Battery Point.
