Jemima had a total of 14 children, by her two marriages. Six years after the death of her second husband, Jemima somehow managed to complete the purchase of a piece of land at Greens Creek (quite possibly the land she had been farming for some years with her former husbands).
Jemima died on her 74th birthday, on 4th September,1908, at Sassafras, Tasmania. Her Death Certificate reveals the cause of death was stated as "Senile decay, Exhaustion". She has many descendants, both in Tasmania and further afield.Use this facility to register your interest so other researchers can contact you.
