This young child, Margaret Barry, along with her sibling Henry Barry are the children of Michael Barry from Cork Ireland and Ellen Collins. These two were aboard the ship Eliza as it carried convicts to Tasmania. Michael was a Military Guard aboard with his wife and three children. Unfortunately Michael died at sea and shortly after the ship arrived Ellen Barry re-married a John Whelan, also a Military Pensioner, single and they went on to have three more children.
