This orphan has been claimed by: Lyn Sargent

My gr gr grandmother was Catherine/Caroline HUDSON. I do not know if this is her or not but there is a very strong possibility. On her obituary it is stated that she spent 8 years in Van Diemens Land 18 years in Victoria and 18 months in NSW, she died aged 37 years and stated on certificates that she was born abt 1828 in Calcutta India, when you consider the year she died and this other information this girl is the right age.........

This girl may have been my ancestor, known as CAtherine or CAroline Hudson, who ended up with William Skinner and having chidlren near Beechworth in Victoria in 1840s and 50s. Interested in communicating with others interested in her.
