Izod was transferred to the Male Orphan School on 3 April 1856, aged 8 years 6 months. Discharge Register lost.
He spent the intervening years in various Institutions and was admitted back on 12 July 1890 when the school was renamed the New Town Charitable Institute, and in 1920 he died there under the name of Darcy Izod KING.
