Ann Melanaphy was 13 yrs old when they accompanied their mother aboard the "Mexborough" in 1841 and is the sister of my 2nd great grandmother Ellen Melanaphy ( 7 years of age)  and one of the 4 children of Ann Melanaphy (nee McGuire) and James Melanaphy from Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The other children were Margaret Melanaphy aged 11 years and Patrick aged 10 years.  Ann Melanaphy aged 17 years  married James Main aged 21 years, and a Farrier, on 11 July 1845, Lime Kiln Valley, Hobart in the home of the Bridegroom's father Cornelius Main
according to the Rites of the Church of Scotland.
If anyone has any additional information on Ann and her family I would love to share our side of the family with them.
