'AN ORPHAN SCHOOL GIRL "GOING TO THE BAD".
'A young girl named Millington, an orphan school
girl, apprenticed to Mr. F. A. Packer, was charged
with gross misconduct. It was stated that the girl
was in the habit of going away from her master's
house at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, and remaining
away until 11 at night. The Bench cancelled the
defendant's indenture, and ordered her back to the
Asylum.
