Isabella Moore is my great grandmother. She was known as Catherine Isabella Arila Moore and married William Cook in New Zealand. She and William migrated to NSW and raised a family around the Cootamundra area. Her descendants still live there.

This child, here named Isabella Moore, was the youngest of three children born to Isabella (Halyer Rayner) and Edward Moore in 1863. The child was christened as Elizabeth Ann/e but bore the christian name of her mother in life. The child's mother, Isabella, died six weeks after her birth. Probable reason why the infant bore her name. The boy, Frederick Moore, herein registered as Orphan 3902 was her brother. The applications for their admission were denied. The two Moore children's older sister, Catherine Isabella Arila Moore, is not named in these records. She was not sought to be admitted with her siblings. Catherine is my great grandmother.
