Harriet was born in 1848 in Hobart, Tasmania. She Married Robert Henry Pierce also of Hobart in 1874 aged 26. Harriet had three children, Henry Frederick, Ethel and Arthur Robert. They lived in New Town for a number of years and died on the 25 May 1922 at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
