Margaret Oswald was most likely named after her grandmother Margaret Kelly, who was transported on the Blackfriar in 1851 with Margaret's mother Catherine. Margaret Oswald's aunt, Ann Kelly, also arrived on the Blackfrair as a ? 5 year old and lived in the Queen's Orphan School between 1851 and 1854.
