I am descended from their older sister Elizabeth Pellinger/Pillenger who married James Matthews in 1830 at New Norfolk.
James and Elizabeth Pellinger (the parents of orphans) were from Norfolk Island and arrived in VDL on the City of Edinburgh in 1808. Elizabeth had arrived on the Neptune as a 4 year old with her mother Elizabeth Wood and met James Pellinger on Norfolk Island. He had arrived in NSW on the Pitt in 1792. The records do not show the children being assigned and I think they may have been released to Elizabeth. Their father died, aged 80 at Oatlands.
