Sarah Anne Rice is my 2nd Great Great Aunt and went on to marry Robert Baker on the 15 July 1875 at St Luke's Church Campbell Town, Tasmania. She and her husband went on to have 5 children. Sarah died 8 Aug 1942 at Cleveland, her obituary is as follows from the Examiner Saturday 15 August 1942 page 6.
OBITUARY OF MRS. S. A. BAKER, CLEVELAND The death of Mrs. Sarah Ann Baker, Cleveland, occurred at her residence last Saturday, after a short illness. Mrs. Baker, who was in her 88th year, was the oldest resident of Cleveland. She was a well-known and highly respected. Her husband, the late Mr. Robert Baker, died 33 years ago. Mrs. Baker was born in England and came to Tasmania at the age of two years. Of a family of five children, four are dead and she is survived by one son, Mr. F. Baker, of Cleveland. Pall-bearers were Messrs. L. Robson, E. Bonner, S. and H. Lockett. Funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. W. Lockett, Campbell Town.
