Hi,

I am not sure if this is the Mary Ann I am looking for but there is a story that Mary Ann Robinson (and aboriginal girl) went to work for William Roberts (who was a farmer in Clarence Plains Tas), and became known as Mary Ann Roberts.

Mary Ann Roberts married Samuel Munday at age 18 - She married Samuel Munday/mundy on 16 July 1843.  They were married in a school (not a church).

If this is the same Mary Ann, she would be my 3 x great grandmother and I would love to learn more about her life and backgroung.

Regards,

Cindy.
