James Rose is the son of Irish convict Eliza Rose. Eliza is my GGG Grandmother. She gave birth to a son, James' half brother, Charles, at the Female Factory in 1845. I am descended from Charles. This record states his admission to the orphanage was in 1841 and that his mother arrived in 1842. Perhaps this is a mis-transcribe in date, I'm not sure. I have no knowledge of what became of James.
