Emma Married Henry William Butt on the 16th April 1861 in Launceston Tasmania, she was 17years old while he was about 40 years old.
They had nine children and by 1900 were living in Awarua, Southland, New Zealand until her death in 1936 aged 90 years. She is buried in St Johns cemetary in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand.
