John Waldron is my 2nd Great Great Uncle. He was born in Ballinasloe Galway Ireland and came out on the convict ship 'Duke of Cornwall' at the age of 15 months with his mother, Bridget, who was convicted for stealing some butter.
John went on the marry Harriett Maria Stevens in 1877 in Victoria, Australia then they went on to have 9 children all born in Victoria. John died in 1911 at Richmond, Victoria.
