Hi

William Wheeldon was my great grandfather.  At some point the spelling of his surname was changed to Wheldon. 

In 1887 he married Eliza Jane Groundsell the only surviving child of a red coat soldier.  They had six children, the youngest Robert being my grandfather.

William spent most of his life living and working around the Launceston area.

He died on 18th March 1946.
