Edward was nearly 5 years at the time he was in the Orphan School. See Joseph Clayton 980. Edward was my G-G-uncle. He never married and died at Perth near Launceston of dysentry at 36 years of age and is buried with the rest of his family in the Perth St Andrews Cemetery. Edward together with his parents Joseph Clayton (Maria) and Mary Clayton nee Gray (Providence) is listed on the Founders and Survivors database.
