I believe the "McDearmidge" children (Ann and John) are the younger siblings of my Great Grandfather, Malcolm Mcdiarmid. Malcolm's mother Marion (or Meron) McLeod was sentenced to S7 years transportation for 'reset of sheep' and from records I reveiwed, she was transported on the Sir Robert Seppings (which matches with your details of these two children) with her younger children on board.
I further understand her husband Donald McDiarmid subsequently followed with my Great Great Grandfather.
